Currently, priority projects include, but are not limited to, the following UBC sports facilities. The sports facilities at the University of British Columbia are world class and are open to communities on and off campus. From the various courts, gymnasiums and fitness spaces, all of these spaces are accessible to students, staff, faculty and community members and are also available for private reservations.
High performance golf center
The UBC Thunderbird golf program has long been a source of pride for the University of British Columbia as a national championship winning team. Sweeping aside the 2019 Canadian University Men and Women Championships, UBC’s dominance in Canadian golf over the past decade has also translated into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) where the university rivals schools from the United States.
With enthusiastic support from the university, UBC Golf and UBC Athletics embark on an ambitious plan to build a state-of-the-art golf performance center on campus to elevate golf teams, support the growth of UBC as Canada’s most decorated sport program, and to further strengthen British Columbia’s high performance golf community. In order to carry out this project, additional funding is required and we invite you to consider supporting the Golf Performance Center. Your commitment will optimize individual and team performance – helping student-athletes excel and develop UBC golf, on campus, for generations to come.

UBC Sports and Recreation is pleased to announce a game-changing fundraising campaign, ActivateUBC.
The ActivateUBC campaign is the final piece of the puzzle that will complete the funding to make this vision for a new fitness and activity center a reality.
We need your support more than ever to achieve our goals of bringing UBC a brand new state-of-the-art fitness and activity center on campus.
